System boots but no display signal

As the title says my pc boots up, all the fans light up etc but I don't get any signal on the monitor. I have tried another monitor too but it still didn't work. When I boot up the pc I get a single beep which I assume is ok. I've tried all the steps in the sticky and I've also tried using the graphics from the mobo but with no luck. One odd thing happened yesterday though. I opened a game but everytime I opened it, it would crash 1 minute into it. But today I can't get it to work at all. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

So it only displayed something when I removed the GPU entirely and run it through the onboard graphics. I put the GPU back in and it didn't work. I guess the GPU is at fault here?
