[SOLVED] System BSOD when I restart but not on power up. Cant seem to root out the cause

Hi,

My system gets stuck in a BSOD loop every time it restarts but not when I manually power it down and up again. Its an issue as often updates to the PC will require a restart and I'm not sure what is causing it.

The BSOD is "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"

Typical example loop following restart (takes 10-20 minutes each time):

1. BSOD - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA - sometimes triggers another restart
2. Motherboard "Automatic repair" screen
3. Motherboard "Diagnosing your PC" screen
4. Blue windows dialogue screen - "Windows couldn't load correctly [restore] [cancel] (restore selected)
5. Motherboard "Attempting repairs" screen
6. same BSOD
7. Motherboard "Preparing automatic repair" screen
8. Blue windows dialogue screen - "Your PC did not start correctly [restart] [advanced options]" (advanced selected -> startup repair)
9. Motherboard "Diagnosing your PC" screen
10. Blue windows dialogue screen "Startup repair couldnt repair your PC. Logfile address... [shutdown] [advanced options]" (Advanced selected)
11. From here I typically select either Use a USB device or system restore options which will usually let windows start up and get to login screen where I can log on, albeit with some applications like Chrome or slack not starting properly when I open them.

Note: I can select use a USB device and even if there's no USB boot device connected it will bring m back to windows login screen.

Steps I have taken

Memory - I did have an intermittent issue where system wouldn't pass memory check at boot, it stopped doing this after a recent BIOS upgrade but on inspection yesterday I found that the memory wasnt running at the speed it was supposed to. I've set up XMP details for this model of memory aligned with advice on the Corsair forum here.
Memory (2x16GB) is in the correct slots as advised in MB manual.
Power to motherboard - The MB has an 8pin and a 4pin slot at the top for powering the CPU. Probably a red herring but I had only connected the 8pin and have now connected the 4pin as well, given that I just setup an overclock for the step above.
Check blue screen logs - I used Nirsoft BlueScreenView to check out the logs for the blue screen. Output below

Ran windows memory diagnostic tool - No errors were found
Removed Bluetooth USB device - I have an Avantree BTDG-40S bluetooth dongle which was the last peripheral I bought about 6 months ago. Tried restarting with and without it connected but didnt see a strong pattern to suggest this was causing the issue.

I'm not really sure what to do now and quite worried I wont be able to continue to update the machine. Feel a bit like I'm shooting in the dark.

Does anyone have an Idea what I should be doing next? It seems this type of BSOD can be quite nebulous to fix.

3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
   
4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
   
5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
   
6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
   
7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .
   

NTOSKRNL = windows kernel. It handles all driver requests, power management, and memory management. It sits between Hardware and Applications. It got blamed but its not the cause

nonpaged area is an area of ram used for drivers, they can't run anywhere apart from in ram. Its likely a driver conflict of some kind. Its strange it only happens on restart.
