I'm looking at building this machine for rendering 3d animation in Octane (maybe just Posers Firefly). I've done a lot of upgrades and repairs, but I've never built an entire PC from scratch. My main concern is that all the parts will work together optimally. Is this a good system for rendering video (fast and high quality).

CPU: Intel Core i7-4820K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock X79 Extreme4 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston HyperX Beast 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Storage: Seagate Constellation ES.3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: PNY Quadro 4000 2GB Video Card
Case: Rosewill THOR V2-W ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic 760W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

Thanks for any advice.

I won't be playing games on it and I've decided to go with Octane which uses GTX cards but doesn't allow sli.

What would you recommend as a CPU? What Motherboard allows 2 or 3 (or more) GPUs.

The way octane works the more GPUs the better.

Yeah I just realized that I hadn't matched the motherboard. I change that to:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Extreme ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Octane says it accesses multiple GPUs but you can't use SLI.
