To make a long story short, this build will come to fruition in the next week and I am been "swept up" so to speak between finding new deals/better parts. This was supposed to be a build in the range of 500 USD, but I am having trouble not expanding that range in order to add a little upgrade-ability in time. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
MB - Your "old" motherboard (760 chipset) is still perfectly fine. Why are you looking to replace it? Overclocking?

PSU - Yeah... your existing one it not the greatest. You are looking at a quality brand as a replacement so you are good there. Stick with Antec, Corsair, XFX or Seasonic.

GPU - Are you gaming on a single monitor at 1080 / 1200 resolution? If so, the HD 7790 doesn't need to be replaced from a performance perspective.

MEM - The Corsair modules will be fine being DDR3-1600 1.5v CL9, but the tall heat spreaders aren't necessary. Check out the GSKILL Ares modules in the same price range.

Solution
Mobo- Not overclocking, just thought the 790 may be better in the long run. I'll staywith the 760 tthough.
GPU- I want to try a two screen set-up eventually, but in the mean time I'll sticking with the one at 1080/1200.
Ram- I originally find the Corsair kit on sale for around seventy on Newegg which as far as I can tell Is a steal and I liked the look. Ironically all of the modules I've seen that look decent have horrid reviews for some reason (I'm not that concerned with looks over performance, I failed to mention my case is a full size clear case which I'm interested in utilizing, that's all).
Any further recommendations are greatly appreciated, I still have a few days till I can order parts.
