For all those wiser and better informed than I can I have your opinion on the following system setup and any changes people might suggest (money is a factor)

AMD XP 2200
Soltek SL-75FRV KT 400 DDR
ATI Radeo 8500 128MB
Netlink 18in 300W
Sunon 80MM Ball Bearing Chasis Fan
Samsung 256 MB PC2700
LIteon DVD Drive
Total $1150 (NCIX)

Looks good over all. I would try to go with a different motherboard as you are only buying 333 MHz DDR. You should go to <A HREF="http:// www.newegg.com " target="_new">http:// www.newegg.com </A> and see what they offer for motherboards. I think you can get a Gigabyte or MSI Mobo for fairly cheap.

On question though, are you getting a HD with that?

KT400 are much of a waste though. get just the same performance with a KT333.

is that a 300W PSU your getting? hope its a good brand. I reccomend you get larger, even if you dont need it all. a bit of headroom is nice, plus the PSU doesnt get as hot.

and what case are you getting?

Thanks for the response guys. In regards to the HD, this setup has:
WD CAVIAR 40GB 7200RPM ATA/100 HD 3.5LP 9MS 2MB OEM
didnt think HD mater to much, i know this is a good brand.

The Case is a:
NETLINK 18IN 300W ATX VS42B CASE /W FRONT USB
