Hello everyone. i'm starting to Build a gaming PC with RTX 1050 C4G graphic card
i'm not sure about the rest of the Hardware that i 'm going to need, please help me to fix this configuration

Motherboard : Asus Prime H310-C/PS
Graphic card : GTX-1050ti-O4G
Power : Green GP580A-EUD
RAM : DDR4 Single Canal 2400MHz CL15 Kingstone HyperX-fury
CPU : Core i5 8400

and do i really need an i7 CPU for this setup ?

Solution
I'd rather the 1650 super or 1660/super or ti. You could go with a better motherboard, like the b360 or b365 or Z370 or Z390. I'd rather to go with 10th gen anyway. Get a better power supply, yours seems generic.

What is your budget?
What are you going to use this pc for?
Monitor resolution?

i can spend like 10% more than this
(i can spend 900$)
and i'm going to use 1080p monitor
and i already wrote that im going to use it for gaming

my main concern is that i want the pieces to work together as good as possible

and maybe i go for GTX 1650

A couple of things. You can get an i7 9700 for that system, but for value for money, especially for gaming, you already have something nice with the 8400. Going with a 1650 (non-super) from 1050 Ti isn't really worth it in my opinion. If you really want to upgrade consider at least a 1660 super. Single Canal RAM is going to be bottlenecking the system, always use dual Channel for ANY kind of system, because CPUs are designed to run at dual channel (because higher memory bandwidth).

thanks for the information
i am not upgrading any systems, this the hardwares i'm planning to buy

in this case, do you still suggest GTX 1050 ti O4G or GTX 1650 ?

and what about the power and motherboard ?
