System Cooling Help

Hi, In 6 days time I'm getting a new PC. Here are the specs:

Intel Core i7-3960X
Asus Sabertooth X79
MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
Corsair HX1050
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
WD Blue 1TB
Cooler Master Haf X

I intend on overclocking my CPU and, as the case has good airflow, only require a CPU cooler.

nb: Beyond a point, sound doesn't matter too much to me. As long as it is reasonably quiet, and it wouldn't be picked up on a headset, it's fine.

Maximum Overclocking? NH D15 or Nepton 120XL

What is the point of you getting such a high wattage PSU i don't understand a 550W~650W is enough

I'm getting some of the parts from a friend's old build. He had a more powerful build.
