Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but last night my sytem crashed while I was playing Borderlands 2 on steam. Since it was about time for me to go to bed I went to bed thinking nothing about it. However, this morning I tried turning on my computer and the system wouldn't boot up. Nothing displays on the computer, the system won't post. My motherboard doesn't display a diagnostic code. I have recently installed Windows 8 on my computer a few days ago (which I fully regret).

Solution
Perhaps you had a power surge... The PSU might be damaged. When you switch it on, what does happen? Fans, etc. You say it doesnt post, but we need to know what DOES work

The PSU seems to be fine, all the fans are running (CPU cooler, Graphic card fans) and- the LED lights are working. I am not sure if my CPU, RAM, or Graphics card is working. I believe the harddrive is spinning. Could it be my CPU or Graphic's card?

I went home and starting jiggling all the cables from my PSU the motherboard posted and the computer turned on. I must have a bad cable in my PSU. Thanks for the help!
