Hi everyone!

I have been having this weird system crashing which started about 2 to 3 weeks ago while gaming. AC Mirage and COD MW3. This are my system specs,

  • Ryzen 9 3900X with artic 360 argb aio no overclocking
  • X570 Aorus Master
  • 2 X 16GB ddr4 no overclocking
  • Asus tuf rtx 3080ti OC edition. Current driver version 546.17
  • Corsair H1000i PSU
  • Windows 11 23H2

All drivers are updated to latest possible version.
No errors found in event viewer.

Things I've done to try to rectify this, in no particular order,

  • Reinstalled the games and verified the intergrity of the files.
  • Reinstalled Windows.
  • Disassembled and reassembled my system just to make sure thermals are not an issue.
  • Checked AV settings and made sure exceptions are added.
  • Ran furmark, blender and other stress tests multiple times and system did not crash.

I do not remember installing any new apps or drivers as my system is a bit old. Drivers for gfx are from nvidia geforce experience.

To have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

Reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS or JBAT or similar (eventually you will have to set the boot priority correctly after that)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

clean boot

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool and if available, update the firmware

use ddu uninstaller and reinstall the latest graphics driver

Thank you for your reply.

I downloaded and installed userbenchmark successfully. Now it keeps crashing at GPU test. First it crashed at the plane scene, next was the 3D bricks and so on. Seems like after every crash it keeps "improving" a bit.

I manage to rma and got upgraded from a tuf 3080ti to pro art 4080. Now I just hate the 16 pin mess that is coming out!

Thank you!
