Psu xfx ts430

Whilst playing mxgp2 the game freezes I get a black screen after I restart the system it doesn't boot up straight away I have to turn the power off and on at the psu and then it will boot with a message saying oc failed and boots to bios I have ran the game with no oc and it still happens I have stress tested both my cpu and gpu all temps are fine this has also happend in bf1 In the past could my problem be with my psu due to low wattage.I have an aftermarket cpu cooler which is a arctic freezer 7 pro thanks for any help

Solution
I would say without any guess at all the culprit is indeed the xfx TS 430W Psu you currently have fitted to your system.

It`s a bit weak for running at RX 470 plus the rest of the system components also.

I would think about buying at least a 550W power supply Sharratt or even slightly higher to say a 600w Psu.
After all it will come in handy for any extra hardware you may add to your system.

Bellow is a link to a range of 500 to 600w power supply's of a good brand, and quality build to give you a little help in what to opt for.

Power supplies are important at all times, but especially if you are going to be overclocking anything. Part of the cost of overclocking is your component choice is critical. You'll want more power than the standard needs of such a system, and you'll want that PSU to be the best quality you can afford.
