System specs:

MSI B450 TOMAHAWK (USED)

Ryzen 5 3600

GTX 960/RX580 8GB/GTX 1070ti (USED)

G.Skill Ripjaws 3200MHZ 2x8GB (USED)

Kingston A400 256GB

WDC Blue 1TB

EVGA BV500

So, I recently built a PC with some used parts. Everything was working fine until I sold my GTX 960, then waited for a day for my GTX 1070ti. I have also used an RX 580 8GB for a week before selling it too. I updated the motherboard BIOS to version 7C02v19 since I've been having problems installing both RAM sticks (sometimes wouldn't post with 2 sticks in there).

Main problem:

After all of that, I realized there was no audio playing on my headphones. The PC detects the headphones/mic, but It doesn't receive/give any signals. I haven't touched any hardware aside from the RAM and GPU.

What I've tried:

Disabling/Enabling device in Sound Control Panel

I tried other headphones too and plugged them in at the back and the front.

Uninstalled/reinstalled/updated audio drivers through device manager many times

Reinstalled Realtek Audio drivers provided by MSI many times.

Uninstalled Realtek using DDU in Safe Mode many times.

Reinstall Nvidia Drivers for 1070ti with and without GeForce Experience many times.

Moved the 1070ti to the lower slot.

Reinstalled AMD Chipset drivers by MSI version 19.10.16

I even reinstalled Windows and it's still the same problem.

It's looking like a motherboard BIOS problem since I haven't touched much of the hardware.
Thanks!

So the audio problem started around after updating bios?

After the update did you clear cmos to refresh cmos with the new bios system parameters and information? Check bios for audio options as well in case it's been disabled somehow.

If still no go, think about reverting back bios version.
