It’s not too big a deal, but for the past week my pc randomly doesn’t boot, and the issue seems to be the gpu because the vga light never turns off on the boot sequence
When I turn the system off and on again it works fine
my specs:
R5 3600
Msi b450 gaming plus max motherboard
msi gtx 1660 super
650 watt power supply
16gb ram
Nvme drive
Thanks in advance

PSU age may be a factor. Especially with a history of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or even bit mining.

Like many devices, PSUs have a built in EOL (End of Life) and that EOL can come all too soon sometimes....

As for dusting - certainly power down again, unplug, open the case.

Doublecheck that everything is fully and firmly in place.
ok thank you
PSU: make, model, wattage (650 watts noted), age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

History of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or even bit mining?

= = = =

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

Ok thanks a lot

It’s a SeaSonic S12III 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply with about 2.5 years of use

It may be an unrelated but it started after I dusted my system
