Hi all, I'm a decently experienced PC builder and recently have been having issues with a new build I just put together.

Specs:
TUF 4090
7800x3D
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2
DDR5 gskill 6000Mhz ram
Corsair Hx1000i
Couple samsung m.2s

Context:
PC had been giving me some issues already. I was on NVIDIA driver 536.41 but after encountering a few crashes without any idea as to why, I upgraded drivers to 551.23 which is the latest studio driver. Yesterday, with the new drivers, it still crashed. Today I hadn't booted my system on as I was fixing up my old rig to be sold. I sold it, then today at around 7:30pm, tried to boot my PC and get this problem.

Problem:
Upon turning on my PSU, 4090 power LED lights up, which is normal. Then, when I turn on the sytem using the case power button, the motherboard LEDs light up in the following order:
1) CPU led (1/2 second)
2) DRAM led (3-5 seconds)
3) VGA led (on until shutdown)

What I've tried:
- unplug cable from PSU and try again after 5 minutes => no changes
- let the system run for 15 minutes => no changes
- reseated GPU => no changes

Other:
I am inclined to think it's the ram because there is a lot of problems with the new motherboards and CPUs having problems with DDR5 ram. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. Thanks.

EDIT:
Damn. I am just weak I guess. Reseated the GPU again and took out and plugged in the 12 pin power connector and now it works fine. I think I've just never had a GPU this heavy before and I may have moved the table that the PC sat on resulting in it (or more likely the power cable) coming loose. I don't know how to delete threads so this post will just stay up here in shame. Thanks

One of the things suggested in the troubleshooting guide here;
is to check that your connections to your devices are secure and all the way in.

No shame at all, stuff happens. In the future there will be someone that come here finds your post and sparks them to make sure cord is in all the way. Glad your up and running. :)
