system doesnt turn on

When i press the power button it blinks for halfsecond and goesoff and the system doesnt start.help me to turn it back on

I would suspect power supply, or motherboard, is bad. What are the full system specs, including make and model of the power supply?

Ok if you have another power supply, put that in your machine and make sure it gives off either the same or more wyatts. Or you can get a psu tester and test it that way. Tell me what happens once you test psu.
