I have the NZXT S340 and I was wondering how I could make my system cooler. I could change out the stock fans and/or add two front intakes. But someone told me to not get any intakes. Right now there is an exhaust at the top and one in the back. They are also both 120mm fans. What is the best fan for a red and black them? Also I don't really care about the noise because I only wear headphones. And could I some how increase the current fans RPMS? I don't really want to venture into water cooling as well. I have a msi gtx 1070 and a i5-6600k non overclocked with a arctic heat sync on it.

Ideal airflow in your case would be if each component can get nice cool air from directly outside the case and blow its hot air directly outside the case. Considering the way that case is laid out I think the best way to do that would be 2 x 140mm front intake fans (top providing cool air to the CPU and bottom one providing cool air to the GPU) then have a 120mm rear exhaust helping them push the air out the back of the case.

The bonus of having much more air coming into the case than going out is that it means there is more air in the case than there is outside it, so when the air tries to balance itself out air is automatically trying to make its way out of the case. Considering that air is carrying dust that means the only dust...

If you have one in the front, one in the back and one in the top there's basically no improvement you can make. Even cable tidiness doesn't matter.

In principle you could increase airflow by using higher CFM fans. If you really don't care about noise, there are absurd options like Delta PFB1212UHE-F00 (252CFM 120mm 7160RPM @ 66.5dB and $40 per fan).

For your current fan, you can't run it at a higher RPM unless you were intentionally undervolting it or had a PWM fan and it was set to something out than full maximum hyper speed plus.

Considering that air is carrying dust that means the only dust getting into the case in theory should be through the intake fans and so long as they have air filters that makes the system relatively dust free and easy to clean.

With your CPU cooler you just want as big a heatsink as possible with as big a fan as possible generally. Some decent cheap options are the Coolermaster Hyper 212 and Be Quiet Pure Rock. Some good bigger ones are the Scythe Ninja and Be Quiet Shadow Rock 2.
