System Fan Failure

Hi i have recently installed an NZXT sentry 2 fan controller. This means i had to unplug the fan from my motherboard, and into the fan controller. Everything works perfectly. However whenever i boot up my system i get a message saying system fan failure, press f1 to skip or f2 to go into the system settings.

Is there a way i can get rid of this message permanently?

have you tried re-wiring your system because doing that helps find loose wires, or the fan controller is faulty. You should also check for dust in the connection areas or in the fan.

Its nothing to do with that. everything works perfectly. Its just my motherboard is no longer connected directly to my fan, so i get a message everytime i boot up. Im just wondering how i can remove that message. Thankyou for your reply.

did you plug the cpu fan in the fan controller .

nope. only the case fan

fan failure it is usualy reported by cpu fan recheck is connector on the board and use hwinfo to to at what speed it run .
