System freeze occassionaly after boot.

When I turn on the PC the system is load and I see the WELCOME screen and after that the system simply freeze , after one or two restarts (pressing the reset button) the system is working and everything is o.k and it doesn't freeze untill the next restart . I checked the event viewer and this is what I got :

The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was C0000005 from line 44 of d:qxp_slpcomcom1xsrceventstier1eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error

any overclock at all?
Sounds like a possible memory problem. Try running memtest with all memory sticks in and also individually.

Whats the rest of your specks on your system?
