system freezes after installing nvidia game ready drivers

at first my specs: msi gtx 1080 not overclocked i5 6600k overclocked to 4.7 ghz 8gb ddr4 ram 1tb hdd 650 watt platinum psu msi z170a gaming m5 motherboard and a custom water loop so the temps are low.

My problem is that everything was running fine at first but now while i am watching a yt video and starting a game at some point the pc freezes and the youtube video just gives 1 buggy tone and i have to press the restart button and i cant start a game. some please help

TAKE A look at this thread, specifically the 3rd post down, on the GeForce forum - one of the mods posted a stmt that the latest nvidia drivers are buggy and he identifies the last known stable driver with a link to it - fortunately Nvidia keeps all their earlier drivers available
