System freezes when game starts

Hello Everybody here
I have a problem
Whenever I start "some" game on my pc ,the pc freezes and nothing happens not even ctrl..alt..del and last gotta restart my pc...
Not all games are affected by this problem
but those games are affected which ran quite good in the system

My specs
Processor: Pentium D 925 3.0GHz
RAM: 2.50GB
GPU: Geforce 210
PSU: 400 watts

No dump files or other information. Best I can recommend at this point with no real information is that you do a clean install of the OS and back up your system with a disk imager (i.e. Macrium Reflect) or a snapshot tool (i.e. RollBack Rx)
