[SOLVED] System freezing/crashing after new card installation

I tried browsing the internet/posts here but I am stumped!

Recently installed a GTX 1070 but found my computer freezes then restarts on its own while gaming. Sometimes its just a hard freeze (can still talk in discord) but most of the time my system restarts. It seemed to be only with higher end games like Siege and Doom maxed out (Dota 2 never crashed for me through 4 hours of play). I swapped my 550 bronze EVGA PSU for a 750 Gold EVGA PSU and that seems to have helped! It seems I can actually play Doom but now dota crashed for me, and siege continues to crash.

In an effort to fix it I have:
Replaced my PSU
Updated my BIOS from a USB
Ran windows memory diagnostics
Monitored my temps up until crashing (card peaks at 60C under stress test. Gaming hits about 54C)
All my Drivers are up to date
All the drivers from my old AMD card have been removed by DDU
I'm at a loss! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Specs:
Intel i5-3570K
Gskill Ripjaw DDR3 4x4Gb
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
GTX 1070
EVGA 750w Gold PSU

Still think it's a power problem but it really shouldn't with that new power supply because it's plenty for what you have.
Right? Its almost seemingly random at this point. Once Dota 2 crashed I figured the power draw issue might be out the window. Also from a quick google it seems my old card (gigabyte 7870) draws more power than the GTX 1070 anyways!
