Question System freezing during video editing and other specific tasks ?

I have been having a persistent problem with my PC. When starting Windows, if I don't continue moving the mouse cursor, the screen freezes, requiring a forced shutdown. This especially occurs when using video editing software like After Effects. Strangely, games don't seem to trigger the freeze. The PC remains on, but the peripherals are unresponsive after freezing. I've checked the temperature, updated the drivers, and run diagnostics, but the problem persists. My system configuration includes:

RX 6600 GPU
Xeon E5-2640 v3
Kingston NVMe SSD
an older 80GB HDD

Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Go into your BIOS and reset all settings to default.
Check the health of your Hard Drive, it might be because its dying and when you're editing/writing to disk it just fails.
