Wondering if my system will be a decent one for today's games? Mainly Apex Legends, Forza horizon4 and Skyrim.

Mobo: Gigabyte z170x gaming 7
CPU: Intel i5-6600k
GPU: msi gtx 1050ti
RAM: Vengeance LPX 16gb 3200mhz
PSU: Evga 80plus 650w

I will be upgrading the GPU in a couple of weeks to a 1070 or 1070ti, but will use the 1050ti for now. I was looking at the 1070 hybrid 8gb ddr5 water cooling. Anyone have any input on this GPU? Also looking at a ASUS dual GTX 1070 OC edition.

Last question is, is it ok to use a 1080p 32inch Samsung tv as my monitor or should I go get an actual PC monitor. If I need an actual PC monitor, any suggestions. Thanks

Decent? Yes. It will still play most of the games you want to play today decently. Maybe not maxed out but it will play, and 1080 will be better once you move to the GTX 1070.

While I like Asus for GPUs, EVGA is one of the best and one that uses water cooling will perform better overall as it will run cooler and be able to be clocked higher.

You are fine with using a TV for gaming but the biggest downside is response time. Might have some ghosting with higher paced games vs a monitor.
