System hangs on POST while detetcting HDD drive.

I have an AMI bios chip. My system was working fine until I recently changed the partition using the windows installation disc. Firstly it gave a "No OS loaded error".then after that the bios hangs after detecting the Hdd. I have a Seagate 250 GB drive.

PC SPECS :

1GB DDR RAM
ZEBRONICS 865G MOBO
INTEL CELERON D CPU
SAMSUNG DVD-RW DRIVE (SATA)

Please turn off the PC, disconnect SATA from the drive, then boot into BIOS setup and load defaults. Save and shutdown, then reconnect the drive and try again.
