What Graphics card did you upgrade from? The HD55xx series are crap for any gaming rig, they work but don't perform very well. Also did you delete the old Drivers? If you didn't then I'm 90% sure they are causing problems, maybe they're not the only cause but they might be one.

I had a nvidia gforce 8800 card before thatxs 512 mb. That got screwed and i had to buy a newer one. i Bought this card after reading the answers i got from this website regarding my query in the Graphic Cards Section. So No Worries. I dont Play Games. I use it for PhotoShop and to watch HD movies thats all.

Now regarding drivers i did not Uninstall the old drivers. I just went to control panel and i saw the Nvidia Drives and apps in the Uninstall Section.
Uninstalling NOW!

Yes, old drivers unused components should be uninstalled if you are replacing that component with another one. I would assume anyway. Did you download the drivers for your GPU from the manufacturer's website?

Well, I rarely recommend nVidia for mainstream use, but a GeForce card would work better with photoshop (By a bit). Too bad that 8800 got screwed, those things are museum pieces and are still quite good performers. I gave my old 8600GT to a friend, it still works fine (even after more than 4 years of abuse).

Mine worked for about 5 years, i just replaced the SMPS which got screwed as well.
System has become slow.
Before when i start my comp the bios screen used to appear for 2 sec and then start up happenned now Bios itself is taking 10 to 15 sec, start up has become slow. AMD had released a new driver for the Graphic card. Im using that now.

When i type my admin Password at startup.. the Alphabets come on screen after 2 or 3 seconds after i type them... :-(
Please help... Please

Wow, Maybe you're dealing with dyeing RAM. When your PC runs out of usable RAM it reads and writes using the HDD which is extremely slow. Otherwise I don't know what the problem could be...
