System Interrupts using 99.6% CPU

This has me so stumped. I left my computer on while I was at school and I come back and my whole computer is very VERY slow. I do some digging and turns out 99% CPU usage. Okay, so what process?

All the processes showed 0%.

At this point, no browser would open, only command prompt and task manager would open really. Even the restart, shutdown, etc. buttons in start menu don’t work. I’ve restarted multiple times, unplugged USB devices, disabled drivers, disabled graphics driver, etc.

It runs completely fine in safe mode, which makes me think it’s not a hardware problem.

Any help?

Have you scanned this system for malware/viruses?

I have and nothing comes up

UPDATE: I made a new user account in safe mode and tried it in "regular mode"...

Works just fine. I'm downloading a different antivirus now on this account as I'm sure something is jacked up with that account now.
