Hi, i recently bought used pc but im not sure why some of games has strangly low fps.
System spec:
MB: ASUS P5Q PRO
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Kentsfield G0
RAM: DIMM1: A-Data DQVE1B16
DIMM2: Patriot Memory PSD22G80026
DIMM3: A-Data ELQVE1B16
DIMM4: Patriot Memory PSD22G80026
I've noticed that DIMM1 and 3 are same brand but different model?
All slots are 2gb each so 8 gb total
GPU: Video Adapter Sapphire Radeon HD 6870

Temps: CPU never exceed over 50 on prime 95 holding for half an hour (not overclocked) bigger radiator and stock dual core fan
GPU on furmark full load 1600x900 2xMSAA wont exceed over 82 (preety hot i know) but when im playing its around 60-70 idle 40+.

So whats the problem, all drivers up to date.
For example my dual core e7500 2.8GHz clocked to 3.4 and hd 4600 ran battlefield 2 mp on TDM maps with medium graphics 60fps stable and this pc wont. It wont run smooth even on low.
Can it be that my rams ar fighting each other or my cpu bottleneck?
Any thoughts? thanks in advance

i would prefer you to buy the zotac nvidia geforce gtx 650 1gb gddr5 graphic card.
The card is the best, it does not need any power chord.Just connect it to the PCI Express Slot.
This Card can run all the games like Need for Speed RIVALS in Ultra Settings,Assassin Creed III in High Settings,Assassin Creed 4 Black Flag in High Settings,
Far cry 3 in highest settings,Batman Arkham Origins In ultra Settings and many more games in high settings.
The cost of the card is Rs7000 in indian rupees.

If you are expecting low cost and high performance buy this.
I hope this helps.
Three problems I see there, one your temps, going over 60º that CPU will throttle down, I used to have it OCed to 3.4Ghz and my temps were around 32ºC at idle and 55ºC-58ºC under load, my cooler was my current Zalman 9500A.

Second "issue", it's default core clock, going from 2.4 to 3.4 of your e7500 makes a big difference in performance, that's why I oced mine.

Finally, that CPU (the whole Core 2 Duo/Quad family) it's simply too weak for modern video cards, including that HD6850, my current HD4850 used to gave me around 30fps on AC Black Flag all maxed out, with this FX-8320 and same HD4850 I get around 50fps, around a 80% performance that was being bottenecked with the Q6600, your HD6850 is far more powerful so you can figure out how much your CPU is holding it back.
