System keeps crashing after new HDD

I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 10 and installed a new HDD. I used 2 new HDD and they both ran fine for a week, and then started having issues of crashing randomly.

I'm not sure if it's either the HDD itself or if another piece of hardware crashes in conjunction with it, but it seems like it's gotten worse over time.

The reason why I assume it's the HDD is because it is more sensitive to crashing during reading batches of files, and even loaded an audio file in Audition with corrupted audio once.

I appreciate any help, as it renders the computer a little bit useless if it's constantly crashing.
Thank you.

It came with XP and Vista but I decided to keep XP.

So you think the drivers are bad at compatibility with windows 10 which causes crashes and stability issues?
I guess the irony is that I should of gotten a Windows 7 disc instead of a windows 10, but I got 10 because I thought 7 was more likely to become obsolete sooner to warrant upgrading to that.

Windows 7 is obsolete, but less so than your current hardware.

Yeah, I figured my system could handle it but I didn't think about driver compatibility.
Do you think trying to look for bios updates would help?

I'm also reading that a lot of these issues could be linked with RAM going bad? Is there any specific ways to diagnose RAM?

I've had instances where I was editing in Audition and it loaded part of the file garbled, and then I loaded it again and it was fine.

Screen also shows garbled graphics when freezing sometimes, something that says can be attributed to RAM.
