Question System lags with erratic mouse movement

Hello,



Occasionally, my entire system grinds to a halt. My cursor freezes and moves only after a few seconds of delay, frequently moving in the same direction for seconds at a time after I've tried to move it somewhere else. My keyboard is mostly unresponsive. I'm told that I sound robotic while speaking to friends, although anything I'm listening to is unaffected. This happens seemingly at random (while unlocking the computer, opening a new tab in Chrome, or while launching some programs). Speccy doesn't show that anything is overheating and task manager doesn't show anything at 100% while this happens. I've ran antivirus scans through Malwarebytes and Webroot with nothing found. Any help would be much appreciated.

8GB DDR3 798MHz

Hello

I was wondering if you tried checking for Windows and Graphics Driver updates?

Sometime the update process is the cause of lag too.

If the graphics driver is already updated, please try rolling it back to the previous built and see if it helps.

If the issue persists, you may want to Run the SFC /SCANNOW Command to let Windows detect and automatically fix the problem for you.
