In Administrative Tools|Event Viewer, then from the Log dropdown, choose
"Log Setting" the default here is "File size 512 kB" and "Overwrite events
older that 7 days" so you must have something that is frequently writing to
the log. Or you can also change the log setting to "Overwrite as needed"
