[SOLVED] System not booting with AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Upgrade

Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 1600 to a Ryzen 7 3800X. When I boot the system the CPU fan spins and the computer begins to start, only to shut down and repeat the same cycle over and over. Any advice on what the issue might be would be greatly, greatly appreciated!

System Specs:

Motherboard: Asrock AB350 Pro4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 (8gb x's 2)
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050Ti
Windows 10

From what I understand the chip is compatible with the specs I've stated. Once again, thank you all so much!!!

What bios are you running?

You need bios P5.80 to run that CPU. It's a one way trip if you do install it unless things have changed. Once you set it up to run the 3xxx series you'll never get a 1xxx or 2xxx chip to run on it again.
