I recently built myself a new computer, but now I've run into a curious problem. I've had the computer for just about 2 weeks and and today is the second time I've experienced the problem.
The problem arises when i attempt to power on the computer it will power on for a brief moment and then shut down, it continues to do so with a few seconds in between the powering on and then immediately powering off, it continues this process for 45-60 secs from a single press of the power button. As mentioned this is the second time running into this problem i have no idea why it started behaving again the first time around so i'm hoping that some of you might be able to spring some light and what might be causing this issue.
The computer in question is composed of:
Motherboard:
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z87
CPU:
Core i5 I5-4670K
Graphics card:
eVGA GeForce GTX 760 Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler (2 GB)
PSU:
XFX Core Edition PRO650W
RAM:
Kingston HyperX blu 2 x 8 GB
HD:
Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE250 250 GB
along with an old 500GB HDD
