My PC will randomly black screen when idle, but otherwise works fine when I have a game running. It will run without issue if something like Minecraft or Valorant is launched in the background, however it will black screen after anywhere from a few minutes to maybe an hour tops after being idle. During a black screen, my PC’s fans and the CPU cooler will continue to run and most times my motherboard’s CPU debug light will come on. There’s no blue screen or dumps and usually event viewer yields nothing promising, most often just noting an unexpected shutdown. I’m at a loss, the fact that it runs fine while something is launched leads me to believe that maybe it’s software related, but the motherboard throwing a CPU light is a bit confusing to me and I haven’t been able to track down anything myself in the software that would cause the issue. My specs are:
MSI B450 Gaming Plus
Ryzen 7 2700
EVGA GTX 1050Ti
16 GB G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3600 (8GB x 2)
EVGA 500W 80+ PSU
I also have a PCIE network card connected
