hey i just finishing a build and was wondering if i will be able to play these games at max with at 720p
cpu:amd a8 3850
GPU: amd 6850
RAM: 8GBS hyperx 1600

yea i know i am going to upgrade to a phenom x4 965 in a month or 2 but was wondering is the 6850 be able to play games at 720p max settings and for how long

@BDS it depends on what spec the consoles arrive with. the 6850 should be good for minimum spec for at least 3 years. medium for 2 and high for the next 12 months at least. ultra? well thats already come and gone.

well im play bf3 right now at high settings 720p at around 30-50 and just 70 or higher when looking at the sky on caspian border

@ 720 res yes you may be able to play many games on ultra as long as they are not CPU limited

Up to you I always recommend only upgrade when yo find a game you can't play how you want to. BTW you need a new motherboard for a Phenom

yea i was thinking about getting a ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX Micro ATX AM3+ just in case i want to go to the fx series when the newer cpu's cards come out like steamroller or excavator come out
