System reserved partition creates itself on HDD instead of SSD!Please help!

Hi all,

I have one problem!

I deleted all of the partitions of my laptop's HDD and SSD while installing Win 10 last time,and when I recreated the partitions , the System reserved partition created itself on the HDD instead of the SSD!And I always install the OS on the SSD!

How do I fix this?

Please help me!

it sounds like you may be getting the partitions on each drive mixed up. to avoid this have only your SSD drive connected when installing windows. after the install is complete you can reconnect the HDD again

you would have to get into your laptop and unlug the HDD. if this is a laptop are you using the manufacturers recovery program to reinstall windows or are you using a regular copy of windows from a USB drive or DVD?

do you know for sure your laptop has an SSD drive? it may be a seagate SSHD drive where it is a regular hard drive but it has a small solid state drive built into it
