Hi Guys,

From some times my system is acting weird it restart when i play games for like 20-25 min or less some times. On normal usage like browsing or movies system doesn't restart.

Specs (Core i5 2500k, GTX 660 2GB, Corasir vs650 watt, Intel dh67cl mobo, 4g ram, Cooler master 212 hyper air cooler)

I checked up few things
CPU temp is normal remain under 65 on gaming
GPU temp is normal under 65 on gaming

temp is not the problem, i plugged out the GPU and played game on intel graphics it tool a little longer like 50min but system still restarts.

Event viewer shows kernel41 error which on google it looks like power supply problem.

Most of the time i have noticed that system restart when GPU is almost 95%+ usage and drawing the most watts from PSU.

How can i confirm this is PSU problem because initially i thought it was temp problem and i installed hyper 212 air cooler but problem still there

Please help

Corsair vs is tier 4 on this list; not one of the most reliable units and it may have aged.

I might suspect the psu.
See if you can't borrow a known good psu to test with.
Corsair is good about a rma assuming your psu is still under warranty.

If you must, buy a new psu like Seasonic. Assuming it fixes the problem, rma the corsair and sell the rma unopened when you get it back.
