System Restarting Frequently

Recently, I bought a EVM RAM 4GB 1333Mhz with matching Latency,timing and frequencies with my other ZION 2GB x 2 RAM(s) but on installing the newer module to my motherboard the computer goes on restarting again and again. Can you people tell me whether it is a compatibility issue or the RAM itself is defective. Bought it from Snapdeal.com.

first check your power supply if there is a problem, if its okay there is a high probability that there are dust particles in your cooling fans clean them with a blower or a clean(unused) tooth brush and also try to clean your heat sink,then reinstall your ram cards it should work

You could look with cpu-z at which timings,speed and voltage the old ram works and see if they match the new ram.
Have you tried with only the new stick?
