i already had two sticks installed and wanted to upgrade to 16gb ramHere is the sticky on how to post pictures -- https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq...s-on-posting-images-on-toms-hardware.2220267/
But the basic question is did you install 1 or 2 memory sticks?
Your confusion on my first question says you may want to get somebody more experienced to help you with hands-on help.
So did you add 2x4gb or did you take out your original 2x4gb and install 2x8gb? What exact RAM do you have installed?i already had two sticks installed and wanted to upgrade to 16gb ram

This could be the problem. RAM is only guaranteed to work in the kits it is sold. Mixing your old 2x4gb with another 2x4gb is not guaranteed to work even if you used the same make and model.i added 2x4gb
