I have an odd issue with my PC that has me concerned. Twice now over the past couple of weeks, when my computer is idle for a long period, the OS (windows 10) will shut down. I specify "the OS" because the computer is still running (can still hear fans etc) but the display is black and the keyboard, which is normally fully backlit, is dark except for the light above Number Lock. Moving the mouse, pressing keys, etc produces no result. Pressing (not holding) the system power button does nothing.

I double checked my power save settings and the PC is set to never go to sleep. I also checked the system logs (after I hit the reset button to bring it back up) and there was an error message there: "Event ID 6008 The previous system shutdown at 11:38:49 AM on ‎2/‎14/‎2021 was unexpected."

This was the last event log before I noticed the issue and reset the PC around 12:15pm

So far, this has not happened when I was actively using the PC. It is not a laptop, if that matters.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.
