Hi,

My current system:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
BIOS: BIOS Date: 11/14/16 15:01:30 Ver: 05.0000C (type: BIOS)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 16384MB RA
Available OS Memory: 16322MB RAM

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Display Memory: 14204 MB
Dedicated Memory: 6044 MB
Shared Memory: 8160 MB
Current Mode: 2560 x 1440 (32 bit) (120Hz)

I recently bought a monitor: 32" LG UltraGear 2560x1440 QHD 165Hz VA HDR10 Monitor

After connecting monitor my system seems a lot slower. How do i know this? Well when i got to say you tube it takes a long time to load and then durin ghte middle of a video it has to "buffer" .........never did this when i had my old vga monitor which was 24inch.

Any idea what i need to do? i thought my video card was good enough. How do i know if i need any driver updates...could this be a cause for the slowing.............i am at a losss any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

i will look to see if it also slows down my computer when looking at alternative sites to you tube.....thanks for the idea. i will let you know what i find. thanks.
