Mpg z490 gaming carbon wifi purchased brand new.
Main windows 10 is on ssd.
When we select reset or shut down pc takes 6 minutes.
Is there a way to make this process much faster.

Solution
Do not get PO'ed and just turn it off like I did, (had to go to work)
ended up doing a reinstall.
I've noticed windows will download updates and install them at shutdown, not only win10 updates but language, voice, and other stuff.
It may just be sorting files getting ready for another weekly thingy.

Version of BIOS for your motherboard? Which slot on your motherboard is the SSD populating and is Fast Boot enabled?
