So today i went to plug in my controller into my pc, which ive done many times before, and plugged the hub into my motherboard, a usb cable from the hub, and cable to the controller. I dont know if this was the exact cause of the crash, but when i looked at my screen i got blue screened. so I proceeded to do everything i could possibly do to fix the problem. I did 4 cmd commands, tried safe mode (which blue screens immediately), un plugged all my devices, tried a different graphics card, tried my hard drive in another pc (which worked fine for some reason), i even tried to reset my pc but i couldnt because i didnt have enough space on the drive with windows. Im lost, completely lost. Any ideas? I dont think its cpu or ram, i mean this happened today and ive been using this exact computer for 5+ months now with no issues. I also tried removing specific drives, and that didnt work either. I think it might be the motherboard or a program or something, but the cmd commands i used that were supposed to check for stuff found nothing and didnt work. Thanks in advance, im sorry if this is aggressive im just really agitated at the moment.

Update: reset windows, worked for 5 minutes then crashed. reseated cpu. no luck. tried individual ram, no luck. the only thing left is the motherboard..? idk
well now everything broken, every time i try to get to boot menu or restart computer i just get your pc/device needs to be repaired error 0xc0000225 and I cant get to anything but recovery mode where nothing works for me and I cant even reset windows again, i just get an error. Im thinking at this point of just buying a new ssd and windows and starting from scratch.

ive tried basically this whole guide http://windowsreport.com/windows-10-automatic-repair-couldnt-repair-pc/

Have you already tried that controller on another pc? Updating drivers and running sfc /scannow should be enough to rule out any software issue. Also were you connecting it to a USB 3.0 port by any chance? some peripherals get messy when plugging them to such ports so try a 2.0 port instead if you haven't already.

I plugged it into my other computer and it worked fine, also i tried sfcc /scannow earlier and it didnt find anything, i just tried it again and it said windows resource center couldnt do it

I reset windows and it worked for about 5 minutes and then crashed. now im wiped and at the same spot as before
