It seems like no matter what I have searched I can't get a solution. So yesterday evening I downloaded a new amd driver for my rx480 and restated the computer. I get a BSOD telling me "system thread exception not handled" I'm like wth. My computer reboots and does it again Untill it tries to do automatic repairs which doesn't work. I look up a few videos some people do system restore so I tried that and the system restore failed. I tried refreshing my pc which also failed. I tried to go into advanced options to boot safe mode but when the weather is computer restarts and brings me to the point where I can go to safe mode, my freaking keyboard doesn't work. It's like i'm stuck at this point and I don't know what to do!! Someone please help.

Are you using a wired or Wireless keyboard?

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB << its a handy boot disc if nothing else

Lets see if we can get into safe mode:

boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
PC will restart and load safe mode
go into device manager and uninstall AMD drivers as they may have created error (or see if any warning signs or unknown devices here)

is there anything on C drive you want to rescue? try making this on another PC: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/

If you back everything up off the hdd, I would try a clean install and see if that fixes it.

change boot order in BIOS so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
follow this guide: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

when you reach the screen asking for licence, click "I don't have a key" and win 10 will continue to install and reactivate once finished

On the screen where you choose where to install win 10, if it gives you an error about GPT drives, delete all the partitions on the hdd and press next. If it still gives error, cancel out of the installer and restart PC and start installer again, it will accept next on that screen this time (some PC just need a restart here)

None of it worked, so I ended up wiping my hard drive and putting windows 7, I'll add windows 10 later on
