System troubleshooting question

Hi all.

I just finished building my second PC. My first one was a big success. My second, however, not so much.

Would anyone be able to advise me as to what the issue would be if when the following happens:

I turn the machine on.
The fans whir for a couple of seconds.
Then it powers off.

I tried removing the graphics card, and the same occurs.

Any insights?

Sounds like a shorting issue, follow these troubleshooting steps:

I suggest you start with the breadboarding test (after step 23 I think) and then start applying the steps mentioned in the guide.
