I just got together a simple set of upgrades, these being:

MBD: Asus ProArt B550-Creator (BIOS version 2407)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
RAM: Crucial DDR4 Pro 3200MT/S 32GB (2 x16GB)
SSD: Teamgroup MP33 512GB M.2
PSU: Cooler Master GX III 750w

But when I reassembled my machine, I turn the system on, slight time on yellow LED (Memory test) before going to red for less than a second before shutting itself off. Then, it turns itself back on, goes through the checks and gets stuck at green LED (storage) with no POST, no BIOS. Nothing.

I have tried practically everything in the book:
  • CPU-reseat
  • RAM swapping
  • Testing with one stick of RAM
  • SSD removal,
  • PSU changeover

But nothing has worked.

I'm honestly getting close to ripping hair out, so any help would be immensly helpful.

ps. I don't have have spare am4 chip or ddr4 module to test so there might be that blindspot. I would rather get a full confirmation before I am forced to buy yet more components for what was supposed to be a simple upgrade.

Have you double checked that the m.2 is seated fully. If the board has two slots try the other one.

If that does nothing, do you have a spare hard drive to connect to see if it posts. Remove the m.2 before trying !

I did one attempt with the M.2 removed. no effect.

System turns on. Might of been my fatigued, idiotic self didn't think to check to see if the monitor was out of power saving state.
