Hello, everyone. I have an issue where my pc turns on only to show a black screen with the amount of RAM "4096 MB" memory on the left corner, the version of the bios,i think in the left bottom "v01.26" and "<F9=Boot Menu> <F10=Setup> <F12=Network>" in the bottom right corner. Above the text in the bottom right there is written the model of the unit "HP Compaq dc7900 Convertible Minitower". The problem is that the keyboard is not working(num lock doesn't turn on the led light on the keyboard after it stops "calculating" i think the amount of ram)

Solution
check with a different keyboard in a different USB or PS/2 port

I´m assuming that pressing F10 doesn´t work?

reset the CMOS by jumper (refer to the manual how to)

replace the BIOS/CMOS battery
