Ok. A few weeks ago I posted a topic to get help / ideas to upgrade my current system. I ONLY need a new motherboard, CPU, ram and a GPU. I have everything else in my current system.

Here is what I will be reusing :

Antec 1200 case
Rosewill 850w "Extreme" PSU
Tuniq 120 HSF
64GB Vertex 2 SSD
Samsung 1 TB hard drive
Windows 7 64 bit

Now I've picked this from newegg :

Total before rebates is $670.00. My budget is $800.00 so I have $130.00 to get RAM. What do you guys suggest to go with this motherboard ?

The main focus of the system is gaming with an emphasis on World of Warcraft with Cataclysm. I want to run high FPS on ULTRA graphics setting while raiding and FRAPSing the raids for my guild. I play on a 32" 1080p flat screen.

going with a i5 760 over that CPU will give him 100 bucks more to add to a GPU, the i5 760 will be plenty of CPU for wow + there is no need for the HT CPU.

I would look into a HD 6870 or GTX 470

Well i was going with this because i liked the motherboard and the combo deal.

I originally was going to go with an i5 760 but newegg doesn't have the mboard i wanted. I want a mboard that i can use my 9800gtx gpu as a Physx card.

Can you guys recommend a mboard, ram and gpu for an i5 760 build then?

I'm not really looking to SLI or xfire. Just want to run my old 9800 GTX GPU as Physx.

What about an i7 950 build ? would it be fine with that Asus mboard too?

Reason I ask about the i7 950 is because Microcenter has it for $230.00 and I work like 15 mins. from a Microcenter.

The 950 would be $250 after tax. The 760 is $205 shipped from newegg. Would the 950 be with the extra $45 ?

The i7 950 CPU will not fit ANY 1156s MOBOs..... for a i7 950 you need a 1366s MOBO.

IMO a AMD 955 or the i5 760 with the best GPU you can buy, Will give you what your looking for in WOW.

@1080 rez the GTX 460 is a ok GPU ( but there are better GPUs you can get ) if your not spending so much money on a CPU.
