Hi guys, thanks for reading this post. I need help with some hardware upgrading. I want to get a better cpu so I can run bigger games and record at the same time. I don't know too much about hardware, but I know about what goes on when the computer is on :p I know I will probobly have to upgrade my mobo as well to do this. Thanks for your help! If you guys have any suggestions than that would be great.

Specifications list:
Windows 10
MSI MS-7641
AMD Radeon r9 270x
AMD FX-4300 Quad-Core
I know power supply is more than efficient, I can't open the case right now because I'm not at home to get the actual name.

If you do not want to wait, then a Xeon 1231v3 and an Asrock H97 pro 4, or the micro atx version, if your case needs that. 1231v3 is basically an i7 4770, without the unnecessary integrated graphics.

Thanks for the suggestion, I think I will look into these and ponder on buying them. What did you mean by "if you do not want to wait" though?

It is expected that Intel will launch their new 6th gen chips, later this week. Might be a few weeks before we see full lineup, though.

Ohhh ok, yea I'll wait for those then. I'm not in any sort of rush to get them. Thanks for all your help!
