System wipe get rid of a rat?

So I was rated I was able to tell by going into task manager and seeing it running , not important how I got it. But I decided to wipe my system clean and reset to factory settings with all my hard drives. This should get rid off the rat correct?

Should do, you can also go to to the startup tab of msconfig and see if that process is there.

@mlga91 so I did I didn't see the process but I also went to cmd and typed -netstat auo I think and I did not see anything trying to connect that wasn't local and didn't have a foreign ip address did I do that right?
