I tried enabling the XMP profile in my BIOS which says it would run at 1600, however the computer wont boot. I need to restart the computer in order to boot again. Luckily my motherboard lets me get into BIOS after failed post and switch settings.

Also, I put DRAM Voltage to 1.55V because I found this advice on multiple forums, but still, no luck.

I found this on my MB manual:
"ddr 1600 mhz and higher memory frequency is suported by intel 3rd generation processors"

Could be this be a problem? I need a newer CPU than my i5 2400 in order to activate XMP?

Any help on getting this to work?
