Question System wont booth with 32GB of RAM

So I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 7590 Laptop (Intel i7 9750H). It came with 2x SKhynix 8GB DDR4 2666 SODIMM

I purchased 2x16GB HyperX IMPACT 2666 SODIMM, but cant get it to boot.

I did some troubleshooting and found that I can get it to boot with the following configuration:

DIMM A: 16GB HyperX IMPACT
DIMM B: 8GB SKhynix

It wont however boot in any of the following configs: (get a no Memory Detected error code)

DIMM A: 16GB HyperX
DIMM B: 16GB HyperX

DIMM A: 8GB SKhynix
DIMM B: 16GB HyperX

DIMM A: 16GB HyperX
DIMM B: ---

DIMM A: ---
DIMM B: 16GB HyperX

Am I looking at hardware faults or is there some compatibility issues Im not seeing?
Any advice appreciated.

Hmmm...this is an odd one that's for sure.

Super strange is that the 16gb in A won't boot without the 8gb in B. Have you tried each of the 16gb modules one at a time in A to see if one of them fails?

Yes have tried with both 16GB modules by themselves and neither will boot

What are the exact part numbers on all the modules?
